The deadline for the Summer School on Ethical Design for AI has just been 
slightly extended from June 20th to July 1st. The school features international 
experts in the field of formal and logical methods for AI in the beautiful 
setting of Lecce, Salento, Apulia, Italy. Applicants can register at at

Let me remind you that in addition to keynote lectures, the school will feature 
a poster session. Participants are encouraged to present their work in progress 
and will have the opportunity to receive feedback from leading researchers in 
the field. We are also exploring the opportunity of conveying extended versions 
of selected abstracts to a dedicated Special Issue.

Ethical design for AI - Logic for the AI Spring 3
Conference & Summer School in Lecce (Italy), September 1-5, 2025

DESCRIPTION

This is the third edition of the summer school Logic for the AI Spring. The 
School is designed to provide students with a background on the cutting-edge 
logical methods for AI and Human-AI interaction, and the epistemological and 
ethical issues surrounding them. This edition has a specific focus on the 
reflection and formalization of ethical and legal principles for AI, given its 
co-location with the final dissemination event of the project "Ethical design 
for AI", which is funded by the EU and is currently carried out by an 
interdisciplinary group at the University of Salento.

A selection of participants will have an opportunity to present their own work 
in a dedicated Poster Session, which will take place on Wednesday 3rd 
September, 2025.
