Did Make install tried- /usr/local/sbin/mathopd < simple.cfg tried- start-stop-daemon -S --startas /usr/local/sbin/mathopd -- simple.cfg
In either case a pid is written to the pid file but I can't see the process using ps or top. The process seems to die?
