The medical field's ethical base can not be questioned just by an argument. The medical field is service oriented. But the associated industry of manufacturers of medicine, equipment and the business competition - number of them have proved to be corrupt.
However, we can not pre-label anyone in service as corrupt without evidence because the medical-personnel work based on their ethics and conscience. That conscience can not be judged. If someone can not trust the physician, that is not a desirable social change. Anyway, the link of World health organization at http://www.who.int/bulletin/volumes/84/2/news10206/en/ puts light on the possible and proven corruption globally in the field of medicine. CCHR.org puts light on the FDA mistakes. The medicinal benefits of many food materials are agreeable, proven to be beneficial at direct or supplementary levels. If there is a way to cure deceases, or to disprove something also, let someone come out with research data please!.
