And birds have not evolved enough to develop internal womb for development., therefore, the only need is to provide Egg shell *temperature for incubation. *Birds are providing the eggs with their body temperature, in their built nests. Those animals who have constantly exposed to the threat of losing eggs (and thereby losing their offspring ) might have developed even more secure way of parenthood as in mammels in the course of evolution.
