Thanks a lot. You saved me.
I checked the exec-path variable inside Emacs, but there was no path for Matlab.
I added Matlab path to this variable manually using this:
(setq exec-path (append exec-path '("/Applications/MATLAB_R2018b.app/bin")))
and, finally matlab-shell works again. To install matlab-emacs should we add
Matlab path to exec-path variable manually in the first place or should it be
automatically added during installation? I remember that in my previous
matlab-emacs installation, I did not change exec-path variable. This time, I
installed the new Emacs using brew cask install emacs.
Anyway, thank you very much. I do really appreciate it.
