To what bug do you refer? There seem to be related zoom-to-rect bugs in both the trunk and the branch. In both, zooming in to a region comparable to, or smaller than, a "pixel" (meaning a grid cell in the data array), gets unbearably slow. In the branch, it has the additional characteristic of fading out. I think this bug may be inherent in Agg, and has been around indefinitely. Or are you referring to some other bug?
