Hi all,
sorry, only reporting, no bugfix. I just discovered that an empty plot
with drawstyle 'steps', 'steps-pre', 'steps-mid' and 'steps-post' fails.
I am using matplotlib 0.98.5.2.
Example
plot([], [], drawstyle = 'steps')
...
