Looks good: all tests pass on Python 2.6 to 3.3, 32 and 64 bit, on my 
Windows system.

However, the agg_buffer_to_array.py example crashes under some 
circumstances. See 
<https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/issues/1437>. Can anyone 
reproduce the crash?
