I just started working on MEP26
<https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/wiki/MEP26> to create a
stylesheet syntax & implementation for dynamic, artist-level stylesheets.
There is still a lot of work to be done on the MEP, but hopefully it is a
good starting point for discussion
