Hi, I'm using very often the load command, I would like to know why the default comments character is still '%', the one from matlab, other than historical? I would prefer to have the one from python '#'. I know it's just a personal preference but we are using python so for consistency I'm thinking that it would be better to have '#' or at least to have an option in matplotlibrc to choose the default character.
