Hi sorry for the stupid question but I have installed an RPM version of matplotlib and now I would like to upgrade it. Unfortunately I would like to install a version that doesn't have an RPM. I downloaded the source and built it, but I don't know if I can just install it over the old version or if I have to remove the old version and then install the old one ... What should I do with Scipy and Numpy?
