It installed just fine for me with the long name....

This is a bit odd -- a Framework Build of Python should be in 
/Library/Frameworks... (or System/Library/Frameworks). Maybe that egg 
doesn't work right with a non-framework build.

I think it should work with either the 2.5 Apple supplies with OS-X 
10.5, or the python.org 2.5 build.
