Thanks. I've stumbled across "reinteract" and found that the inline plot has been done using the previous version of the pylab console (http://blog.fishsoup.net/2007/11/10/reinteract-better-interactive-python/)
Concerning ipython, I've once designed the code to integrate it but since then I got a bit lost with the future new version of ipython (ipython1). I will try to look again.
