I think that it's critical that documentation is not 'lost' (even temporarily) during the conversion process. Especially for novices or even for just quick class-checking for advanced users. And while I suppose people who really need the documentation will run epydoc against it themselves (guilty) it seems odd to have a reduction of information on the website. Just my $0.02.
