I installed OS X Mavericks a few days ago and I am running Mapllotlib Version 1.3.1. Everything works fine except that I get a warning every time i use the pyplot.show() command.
here is what it looks like: ---- Python[27325] <Error>: The function `CGContextErase' is obsolete and will be removed in an upcoming update. Unfortunately, this application, or a library it uses, is using this obsolete function, and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system performance. --- I thought I should ask if this is serious and also if something can be done about it.
