Hello all, Several of us have been stumped on how to create a map with basemap that doesn't have a rectangular bounding box. I've attached an example of what we are trying to create (done with GMT and not ours). Browsing the docs I thought it may be possible with a floating axis as in the gallery, but that doesn't do the trick either. Is there a way to create such a plot with basemap?
Thanks, J.L. <http://matplotlib.1069221.n5.nabble.com/file/n42766/GMT-contour.jpg> -- View this message in context: http://matplotlib.1069221.n5.nabble.com/Basemap-Plotting-on-Floating-Axes-tp42766.html Sent from the matplotlib - users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CenturyLink Cloud: The Leader in Enterprise Cloud Services.
