You might use 'psat' software to convert the 'PSSE' format to the IEEE cdf first

and then use the matpower to convert 'IEEE cdf' to 'matpower' format.

          Hello Nélio,

Use IPLAN in PSSE, you can do it easily. Just pay attention to the branch
load calculation.
I have done similar things, but not to exactly to MatPower format.

You should convert your raw data files, not sav files.

Hope this give you some ideas.

Hi, this is my first email to this mail list. Unffortunally there is no
MatPower online forum where the past questions could be accessed. Probably my
question was already answered some time ago..

There is any case converter from the raw file format (ascii PSS/E format) and
the MatPower case format?? I have some network cases on the raw/sav format that
I would like to use in the MatPower utility. Is this possible??

  Thanks in advance
