MATPOWER 4 will have this feature, where the interface limits are based on flows from a DC model.

Dear Zimmerman
is there a way to add interface limits in resolving OPF
thanks

Unfortunately, MATPOWER does not include this capability. However, you may be able to solve the problem you want by duplicating the network for each time period and combining them into a single large network with a bunch of islands. The ramping constraints could then be added as additional linear constraints that tie the islands together.

Feel free to contact me off-line if you want to discuss this idea further.

Hi!

I'm very new to MATPOWER but was wondering if it is at all possible to do a multi-time period DCOPF subject to network constraints and ,most importantly, generator ramp-rate constraints?

Thanks in advance

James
