Hi Simon,

The value of mpc.branch(n, 5) is exactly the bc shown in Figure 3-1 in the 
manual. If giving it a complex value results in the model you want, that should 
be all that's needed. It simply gets incorporated into the Ybus matrix which is 
already complex.
