“By default, the AC power flow solvers simply solve the problem described above,

ignoring any generator limits, branch flow limits, voltage magnitude limits,
etc. How-

ever, there is an option (ENFORCE Q LIMS) that allows for the generator
reactive power

limits to be respected at the expense of the voltage setpoint. This is done in
a rather

brute force fashion by adding an outer loop around the AC power flow solution.”

Subject: 回复: Q limit tolerance for "ENFORCE_Q_LIMS" mpoption

The Matpowe do not take Q limit into consideration when using "runpf", the
"runopf" does.

Good Luck

To whom it may concern,

     In line 149 & 150 of ‘runpf.m’ in version 3.2 or line 218 & 219 in version
4.0, there’s no tolerance for the reactive power limit for generator. Sometimes
it may lead to infeasible problem, especially when incorporated with other
packages. I just encountered it and report it.

Thanks a lot for this great Matlab package.

Best regards!
