The power flow is a deterministic problem, because you cannot have PF
variables obey Kirchhoff's laws in a valid probabilistic manner.
However, you can have probability-weighted deterministic power flow
scenarios representing some distribution, and depending on what kind of
things you want to be able to say, it might be a way to approach the
problem.

Dear All,
As you know probabilistic power flow is one of the ways for overcoming
uncertainties in networks. These days Wind Turbines and photovoltaic
systems, introduce additional power fluctuations into the system .I am
sure the Matpower has the capability of not only doing deterministic
power flow but also probabilistic but I couldn’t find anywhere in
manual how that is implemented.
Any of you guys have encountered this problem?
Do I need to add an extra code?
Thank you
Best regards
