Hello If the OPF converge, the total power generated are covering all the demand plus the losses in the system whit the minimum cost.
That means that both things are in the minimum value found by the algorithm used. Because the only way to reduce the total cost is reducing the losses. The demand is fixed. You don't need add a term in the objective function to minimize the losses. If you just want to minimize the losses, read the next thread.
