You are right, opf involves calculating Pg, Qg etc values, however, the
simple meaning of opf is to calculate the values of Pg, Qg, losses and/ PL,
QL (if load is variable) which gives the minimum value of objective
function.

parameter(e.g.
Pg,Qg) with change objective function??*
While the objective function value changes, the objective function remains
the same, it is the individual values of Pg, Qg etc. which changes as long
as their combination gives a minimum value.
*3. Third, I think polycost.m is written objective function. Is this
objective function cost(objective function = c0 + c1 * Pg + c2 * Pg^2) ??*
Yes it is, we can even extend to include =c0 + c1*Pg +....+ cn*Pg^n. this
conforms to the idea of *poly*, such that we on;y enter the coefficients in
the case.
