I am trying to understand the Qmax parameter. From the manual this is the
maximum reactive power from the generators. I am under the impression that for
power flows that converge, the generator reactive power outputs will not exceed
this Qmax value. However results I obtained from a pf simulation puzzles me a
little bit. The reactive power outputs shown below are greater than the Qmax
specified for the generators. Can anyone explain why this is so and the pf is
still converging?

I have the following results (PG and QG) from running a pf simulation. The
results from running results.gen(:,QMAX) is also as follows. Thanks

 results.gen(:,PG)
