Dear Dr Zimmerman, I am sorry this is a general question on your PhD.
In your Phd Thesis, you present the Backward/Forward sweep method, the Network Reduction Power Flow Algorithms for Radial systems, power flow algorithms for weakly meshed systems etc. Can these algorithms be used for calculation of Optimal Power flow on radial systems ? (e.g. use them in a mathematical optimisation program to find the optimal power flow). Or are they only for power flow calculations (as their name suggests)? Best regards J Eaftots
