Read up relevant literature on modeling of solar panel inverters for reactive power optimization. 2) Read the MATPOWER manual to learn the power system elements that MATPOWER models and its associated modeling techniques. 3) Try to represent what you understood from (1) in the framework of (2). 4) Send questions on (2) and (3), not on (1).
