I am using an self developed hourly unit commitment model including load
flow calculations.
So as a result I can generate hourly result tables for the transmission
line load flows.
Additionally I have the coordinates of all lines in another table.
So my question is if you know a software which allows to generate a
video which visualizes the hourly load flows for some time period.
At the moment our solution would be to generate Pictures with ArcGIS for
each hour and then stack them together with a tool to generate a video.
The question here would be how to indicate the direction of the
flows(maybe a moving dotted line) and the magnitude of generation or
load at each node.
We can off course develop you own solution.
But maybe somebody already developed a software to visualize load flow
simulations.
