Hi, Can you switch to using the latest version MATPOWER 5.0b1 http://www.pserc.cornell.edu/matpower/. It has an improved CPF interface that is now a part of the core MATPOWER code base. You can find the documentation for it in Section 5 of the manual http://www.pserc.cornell.edu/matpower/manual.pdf
