Hello Matpower Users, I am having some problems understanding bus data versus branch data. Under the bus data, I have for example for bus 4, load of 100 MW. However, when I investigate the branch data, the power flow to bus 4 from other branches only equals like 12.5 MW. Meaning, power flows as follows:
>From To Injection (MW) 1 4 7.0 3 4 5.5 I don't understand this. Is it due to loses in the conversion? If so, how can the loss (87.5 MW) be so much? Or am I missing a fundamental point here? I am stuck and I hope someone can help me. Sincerely, BH
