Dear Jose Luis Marin Thank you very much for your explanation. One thing is not clear to me that is regarding IEEE DATA set e.g IEEE 14 bus data or 1EEE 30 bus data etc.In state estimation of power system we need two type of data sets one is Branch data and other is measurements like real and reactive powers voltages at nodes and we are interested to find unkown state vector which consist of voltage magnitudes and phase angles. In measurements data signma(standard deviation ) is must given for weighting the observations. My question are 1: How we can know about sigma in real data set? 2: Branch data or line data are same in all books written on power system analysis but measurements data is different in IEEE sources and other books why? 3:In topic of state estimation of Wood & Wollenberg book , 100 base is used for real and reactive power but what base is used for voltage measurements? i am requested to all MATPOWER discussion forum to help me in understanding of these issues. This is also beneficial for all using these data set because reliable data ensure reliable results.
Your answers will be highly appreciated. THANKS On Tue, Dec 30, 2014 at 5:29 PM, Jose Luis Marin <[email protected]> wrote: > > As far as I know, there is no 6-bus test case from the IEEE.
