Hello everyone,
First I apologize for my approximate english.

I am working on a student project : I have to incorporate a DC transmission
line on an AC grid. In order to do that, I use the "dcline" matrix already
present in matpower.
Now, I want to observe the continuation power flow of the grid at a bus, when
this bus is only linked to the grid by a DC line. I have tried that on a little
modified case9_dcline.The resulting curve wasn't a nose curve as I expected, it
is more like a horizontal straight line, the points make an round trip.(I
include an image in my mail but I'm not sure you will see it)

cpd with AC line (bottom) with DC line (up)
I think that this result is wrong, and I suppose it s because of the reactive
injection used to model the DC transmission line.I tried to limit the reactive
injection with "mpoption('pf.enforce_q_lims', 1);" but the curve was the same !
What do you think about it?
If I'm right about the reactive injection problem, what can I do to observe the
real sensibility of my bus ? Is there another way to do it ?
I would very much appreciate any advice.

Kind Regards,
David
