Hi A. Shrestha,

To the best of my knowledge the original developers of the Dynamic Test Cases
did not include generator cost data.

The NESTA report (http://arxiv.org/pdf/1411.0359v3.pdf) proposes a statistical
method for generating reasonable generation cost values.

The report also discusses some peculiar properties of IEEE 50-Generator case,
which may be of interest to you.

Cheers,

Hello MATPOWER Community,

I am looking for generator cost data and base case results ($/hr) for IEEE
50-Generator, 145-Bus System. Can someone please point me to a technical paper,
book, report, or a website? So far, my search hasn't been fruitful.

Power system data for this system can be found in following places:

IEEE Paper - Transient Stability Test Systems for Direct Stability Methods,
IEEE Committee Report, Chairman: V. Vittal

Thank you,
