MATPOWER solves power flow, continuation power flow and optimal power flow
problems. You will have to determine whether those capabilities can address the
problem you want to solve. If you decide that it can and you determine how you
want to use MATPOWER for your application, we will be happy to try to help
answer any specific MATPOWER questions that might arise in the process. But we
can’t really help you with questions as general as the one you raise.
