Hi all, How is the power loss calculated in MATPOWER? As far as I know, power loss is a function of real and reactive power injections at from and to buses; voltage magnitudes at from and to buses; and resistance of the the transmission line connecting the two. Am I correct? Is there an analytic formulation of power loss you could direct me to?
