SSSC is a series voltage source inserted into a line. LF programs generally do not have that capability since LF equations don't include such models. There are ways of modelling SSSC devices and there are reasearch papers on the topic. But this essentially means you have to add the SSSC calculation yourself. Hi, Kindly give me hint on how to model SSSC FACTS Device in MATPOWER. I simply modelled TCSC as a variable reactance in series with a branch. Best regards
