We have implemented a combined OPF + Natural gas network solver. Version
0.99a can now be cloned from
https://github.com/MATPOWER/mpng
The natural gas network consists of wells, pipes, compressors (both
electric and natural gas fed-turbines), and stratified demands
(different market segments). The natural gas and electric networks
interact at thermal plants and electrically operated compressors.
Natural gas flow is modeled using the Weymouth equation. The
user-defined general nonlinear constraints capability of MATPOWER was
used to implement the nonlinear gas network.
Please use it, break it, and tell us about any issues that you find.
