It appears that some 800 e-mails were subscribed to some MATPOWER lists
between Jan 5 and Jan 9 (while I was mostly away from e-mail and didn't
notice), presumably by some spammer/prankster, resulting in all of the recent
requests to be removed.
These addresses have been removed, so hopefully it will eliminate this noise.
