See Table B-4 in the manual or help caseformat ...

 "parameters defining total cost function f(p) … units of f and p are $/hr and
MW"

… so that means the units are:
  - C2 – $/MW^2-hr
  - C1 – $/MWh
  - C0 – $/hr

I want to clarify that I'm talking about the coefficients C2,C1,C0

Thanks for the prompt response. I wish if you can clarify to me this point, are
they in $/(MWhr)? if so, I need to multiply them by Sbase (100MVA) to convert
them to Per unit? Is that right? If not, I would appreciate it if you may shed
some light on the matter?

The cost function parameters in the case file correspond to power in MW, not
p.u.

I have a question about the units of the generator cost data in the mpc files.
Are these values in per unit or I would to convert them to per unit before
using them?

Regards
