I have a question concerning probabilistic AC OPF. Since Matpower Most can currently only solve probabilistic DC OPF cases I was curious if it is possible to built an prob. AC OPF with Matpower. My Idea was to use probabilistic technique such as first order Markov Chain for wind and solar generation as well as gaussian distribution for load demand to determine weekly time series profiles. Now the problem is that the Matpower AC OPF has no function for the transition probability matrix to solve a problem for several periods and states. Has someone worked on this topic already and can help me with a solution or can think of a solution? At the moment I am not sure if its possible and have not found one.
