Unfortunately, there is no such guide provided by MATPOWER. Modeling of various
FACTS devices is something planned for version 9. If you are interested in
building your own model, you may find How to Create a New Element
Type<https://matpower.org/doc/howto/element.html> and the next two how to
guides (How to Add an OPF
Constraint<https://matpower.org/doc/howto/add-constraint.html>, How to Create
an Extension<https://matpower.org/doc/howto/extension.html>) to be helpful.
These require MATPOWER 8 (currently in beta) or later.
