The MATPOWER Viewer app is a third-party app by Jovan Ilic. Any questions /
discussions that are specific to that software, should be taken to him or
whatever channel he has set up for support.

Announcements of MATPOWER-related tools are fine here, but they will need to
provide their own avenues for ongoing support.

Thanks,

To whom may it concern,

I am a student working at an internship at ECOJOULE energy and it seem that
your MATPOWER app is exactly what we needed. We want to have a GUI that let
customers or people joining our page to place transformers and nodes and see
how much voltage is loss throughout the network, or simply put we just want a
GUI that allow modelling of radial low voltage 3 phase unbalanced load and
generation network. I also just made a small network like below where we have a
transformer with 100KVA and 6.6KV and 440V secondary side connected to a 900m
cable with the resistance of 0.197Ohms/km and reactance of 0.068ohms/km below
and 50KVA load connected to point A.

Based on our modelling it seem that the result is 70A and 9.85V voltage drop so
we wanted to create the same thing on MATPOWER (the script is in this email
attached) to run the exact same simulation.

The result we got from MATPOWER is very clsoe being 67A and 6.2V (0.2536-0.2474
KV) drop between bus 2 and bus 3 (which is node A).

However our goal is to somehow allow the same calculation being displayed onto
your MATPOWER APP which for now doesn't allow 3 phase unbalanced modelling. Are
there anyway we could have access to your APP open-source code or are there any
chance of collaboration with us?

Ideally we want to create a GUI such that we can see the powerflow instead of
just seeing the numbers of terminal. We also want to be able to add more nodes
based on the GUI and not just manually create more nodes in the code and then
run it. If it is possible are there anyone you know that could help us achieve
such results? Any help would be much appreciated, since your GUI APP open
source is exactly what we needed but it is just lacking the 3 phase unbalance
and also load per phase for each bus which uses your 3 phase extension you
mentioned on your website.

thank you so so much!

Kind regards,

Quang Tran
