Yes, add the "-threads -n" switch to the encoding profiles. My initial
email was sharing the formats that I have found to support ffmpeg
multithreading. Enabling "-threads n" for the formats not included in my
email (flv, mp3, mp2) did not help.

Olli,

The encoding profiles, which are converted to ffmpeg commandlines, are
defined in the $FELIX/conf/encoding/*.properties files. You'll need to
add "-threads n" to the profiles that you want to run multithreaded, in
addition to compiling ffmpeg to support multithreading. Keep in mind
that ffmpeg does not support multithreading for all formats and all
codecs.

Tried multithreading by enabling the threads in config.properties in
the
worker-servers. No luck. Tried compiling the 3rd party tools with
ffmpeg
options -pthreads but still no luck. Am I doing something wrong or
omitting
some settings somewhere? Would love to get the multithreading to work.
