Hey 

I have not used a DVI2USB device. Last time I got an error like you did was 
with an unsupported device. I guess the version of Matterhorn you are running 
may not support a DVI2USB because there are no pipelines defined for it. 

I hope someone else is in a position to guide you to a solution.

For now, I'd advise you to try the 1.1RC and see if its supported there. Use s 
custom producer is you can't pick it up on the other video device type settings.

It looks like your VGA2USB device is not /dev/video1. It may be /dev/video0 so 
change it to that and see. The way I use to see my device locations (src) is:

v4l-info /dev/video0

If this gives info relating to Epiphan then you have the right location.

If I may ask a silly question, do you have a VGA2USB device?
