Thanks for the hint. I missed copying some of the files in the lowest level
directories.
I customized 1.0 a bit and had to be careful about not overwriting important
changes and additions (custom workflows, our own capture agent, etc.).
At this point it looks like the basic 1.1 installation is functional.
I appreciate everyone's help.
Now, let's see what else I can break. My 1.4 GB file upload seems to be stuck
...

the /conf/workflow directory is watched by Felix's Fileinstall. Each watched
directory needs an entry in Fileinstall's /load directory, so please make sure
/load contains a .cfg file pointing to /conf/load (this should be the case if
you followed the installation instructions).
