Hello, I've been an occasional participant in Opencast meetings and dialogues and have been lurking on the listserv for some time. I'm writing today in the hopes that one of you might be able to show me the video annotation feature that I've read about on the Matterhorn website.
For the last five years we have been using a web-based video annotation application, to support student/faculty review of video recordings of student performances. However, the company that develops the software has notified us that they will no longer continue to do so. We're trying to identify possible replacements that can support the following: 1) application of extemporaneous comments to specific segments of video 2) ability to distinguish between comments made by different individuals (student/faculty) 3) application of pre-written tags or comments Can current versions of Matterhorn support this? I look forward to hearing from those of you who have thoughts on this or who can provide a demonstration of this feature.
