Dear all,

as I have been proud to be working with the Matterhorn team for more than two
years on developing Matterhorn from a mere vision into an enterprise lecture
capture system, I am proud to officially share with you today the announcement
of Entwine, a company that will deliver professional services and support
around Matterhorn.

Together with Andy Wasklewicz from Stanford University, Entwine has been
founded to fill in the gap for many institutions preventing them to fully buy
into Matterhorn. They will be offered a complete set of services starting with
facility design and including installation, customization and integration of
Matterhorn, allowing them to get up and running with lecture capture built on a
great and powerful piece of open source software that is developed by a vibrant
community, while their efforts are still backed by the option to get commercial
support whenever they see need.

As you can tell by my active and passionate involvement in the project as one
of two lead architects over the past two years, I strongly believe in the
future of both the Opencast community and Matterhorn, and I am more than happy
to be able to keep pushing the development of Matterhorn beyond current
boundaries, making it the preferred premium, sustainable and open solution for
lecture capture.

For more information, please see the official announcement [1] as well as the
company web site [2]. Don't hesitate to contact me or Andy directly for further
questions or comments.

Tobias
