Hi Gustavo,
usually matterhorn does not resize the videos. So if you ingest a video
in HD resolution it keeps this resolution, althought this is not always
what you would expect and hope for, because an Full-HD video probably
does not look good as a FLV-Video with a quite small bitrate (512 KBit).
You can use whatever resolution that you want, just edit the encoding
profiles.
The 640x480 is probably the resolution of the player "cover" images.
