hello, i am trying to install and contribute to the matterhorn project but am stuck up somewhere. while going through the steps as recommended in your website , when i used the command:
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk then i got error saying : package not found: or its referred to by some other name. then i used: sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner" sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk and it worked. Now on running the next line in the teminal i.e. echo "export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-<version>/" >> ~/.bashrc source ~/.bashrc m getting an error saying: Bash: 1.6.0.24: No such file or directory and whenever am opening any new terminal this line appears at the beginning of the prompt. I dont know what to do. also any command referring to bash is not working after this. Looking forward for a quick reply. regards.
