Hi, I am new to Matterhorn, but hoping to soon catch up, and then hoping to do some work that is necessary for Matterhorn. Anyway, I would like to start with putting up a following configuration running:
>>>>>>> I want to start Matterhorn, and then five Demo Capture Agent. Each capture agent must be running on different computer, and have it's own name, and port number selected. The purpose of this presentation is to convince whoever is going to use Matterhorn (me) that is can actually run with Multiple Capture Agents, that each capture agent can be configured separately, and we are not binded to port 8080. I can start 6 separate computers (but I would love to see this working with no more than tree: first for server, second for pure demo capture agent, and third running 4 instances of capture agent each listening to different port). Well, my purpose is clear: - prepare a demo of Matterhorn running, with 5 capture clients pretending to be 5 devices in 5 different locations. Is this something that can be easily completed ? I have notices that some configuration files are common for Demo Capture Agent and the server, so I will probably install multiple servers, but start only bundles responsible for the clients.... Do you think it makes sense, or is there easier way to demonstrate Matterhorn sever running with multiple clients to somebody that never seen this running before ? --I will of course give different names to capture clients like: "Classroom 1 camera", "Classroom 2 camera", "Sport Events Camera" and "Pool Camera", "schoolyard", and I will replace the mpeg movie. -Pawel _______________________________________________ Matterhorn-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opencastproject.org/mailman/listinfo/matterhorn-users
