June 13, 2011 in cooperation with Sakai Conference 2011: Open Opportunities. Endless Possibilities.
Los Angeles, California at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel

In this full day workshop (8:30am to 4:30pm), participants will be immersed in a boot camp experience in the morning focused on installing, configuring and using Matterhorn, as well as practical guides toward a campus-wide deployment. Several schools who have successfully implemented Matterhorn will share their experiences. The afternoon will focus on extending Matterhorn and exploring future development. Participants will learn about Matterhorn-related hardware and services being offered by commercial affiliates, integration, extension and research projects in development within the Opencast community, and have the opportunity to connect with other attendees in the interest of getting your needs met.

> Matterhorn Boot Camp (3 hours): Install, configure and customize Matterhorn > Implementation and Integration Showcases (1 hour): Several universities who have adopted Matterhorn will share their experiences and methods for integrating on their campus > Commercial Partners (1 hour): Hear from several commercial affiliates who offer support services and hardware based on Matterhorn. > Matterhorn Speed Dating (1 hour): Connect with others, share your needs and ability to contribute, and hopefully find a match! > Matterhorn Projects in Progress (1 hour): Several projects are in progress that are built upon Matterhorn, adding new functionality.
